A quick update + some exciting news

Hello, it’s me again! You might be wondering why I’m suddenly writing donors after being quiet for so long…

The truth is, the Appleseed team has been so focused on building a sustainable model—where client fees cover our work—that I’ve let donor updates slip. That’s not because you’re unimportant (far from it!). It’s your support that got us here in the first place. I’m just finally at a point in the year where I can reflect and share what we’ve been up to.

As mentioned in my last latter, we’ve always believed that serving top organizations on high-profile projects would inspire others to adopt a people-first approach—and it’s working!

For example, Cartier Philanthropy (yes, as in the fancy watches), an influential voice in the sector, featured our work in an article about driving real change.

You can read it here: The Importance of Behavioral Change.

This kind of recognition spreads the word about what’s possible when organizations truly listen to the people they serve. It’s a ripple effect, and you’ve helped make it possible.

More stories are coming soon. For now, I hope you’ll check out the Cartier article and know how your encouragement of Appleseed’s mission is making a big difference.

Wishing you a joyful weekend,

-Philip

Coming Up…

I randomly met Andrew Yang  at the airport back in 2019 when he was running for President.

He later shared his idea of what a “human-centered economy” looks like. I just realized that bringing that idea to life is precisely why Appleseed exists.
